Movie version Captain America, I liked the details of the costume. But especially after drawing it, I dont care much for the head piece. I like what Hitch designed in the Ultimates much better. That said, I don't mind that much, any chance I get to draw Cap I'm happy!

Great stuff!
The shading is outstanding, especially on the shoulders, giving a nice texture to that part of his costume.

nice. i always felt the helmet was a comprise the production design had to make to have it be more like the current design. i suspect that the studio didn't think they could make a tent pole summer movie with a guy in a world war 2 era helmet and mask, and it needed to tie more to current "iconic" design. I would suspect that most fans (myself included) liked the sort of "non-costume" he wore in the middle of the movie w/ just the blue helmet w the "A" on it
