Scarlett WWC sketch by RobertAtkins Scarlett WWC sketch by RobertAtkins
This was a sketch commission from Wizard World Chicago a week ago. I just started doing Marker work, so I know that needs to be a little smoother, but you gotta start somewhere.

Whether it needs smoother work or not, this is still epic and well executed. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great piece man, i love the fact she has an Arashikage sword. Any hopeful development between Scarlett and Snake in Season 2?

Well I was there in Chicago all on my lonesome, I had to make due. Dont worry if we're at the same show I will send your way in a heart beat. They'd be better off for it.

You say this needs to be a little smoother, but it's already a lot smoother than most marker work I've seen. The shading is very impressive.

Copics are amazing... but they scan really grainy for me. This looks a lot smoother then anything I've done.

Hey nice job!

You also get points for choosing the right colors. A lot of times, I find markers tricky because I'm never quite sure what shade they'll be when they dry. Looks like you got it right with this one though.

Kudos on the composition too. I love the use of the Arashikage emblem in perspective on the ground. Good call! :)

thanks, I realized pretty quickly I didnt have my true red marker with me, so the symbol has a violet tone to it. oh well.
