Tunnel Rat commission

A very cool aspect to working on GI JOE is there tends to be no end to the amount of commission requests or sketches I get to do at shows. So many fans have his or her favorite GI JOE and I often get asked to do a commission of it for them.

Sure I get alot of SnakeEyes or Cobra Commander requests, but I also get alot of the more obscure characters. This for instance is Tunnel Rat, known for his tunnel work and getting in to tight places. He smaller in build and is actually based off of Larry Hama in his character.

I actually did this particular commission as a sketch request at a convention. I know I went into it more than a typical convention "sketch" but I was digging the idea I had in my head and to draw anything else I thought would have been a rip off for the guy. So I got to do a cool drawing and he got a pretty finished sketch that could have been a cover to the series.
